Foundation for NeuroVirology

Please help us support important research in the exciting field of neurovirology. Your donation will be used to fund various Foundation for NeuroVirology activities, including:

  • Providing financial support to graduate students/postdoctoral fellows, visiting research scholars, clinicians, and basic scientists to cover costs associated with attending educational programs relating to research in and the study of neurovirology;
  • Awarding travel grants to graduate students/postdoctoral fellows to cover transportation costs associated with conferences and symposia hosted by organizations that promote neurovirology research (including the International Society for NeuroVirology);
  • Supporting research in the field of neurovirology;
  • Creating, supporting, and publishing journals, newsletters, web sites, web content, and other media for the purpose of sharing knowledge and ideas relating to the field of neurovirology.

The Foundation for Neurovirology is recognized as a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt entity by the United States Internal Revenue Service. All donations are tax deductible and will receive an acknowledgement letter for tax purposes.

Please make a contribution to one of the following:

1. I want my donation to support the Foundation for NeuroVirology Junior Investigator Fund. Funds donated to the Junior Investigator Fund will be used to award travel grants to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Travel grants will cover transportation, housing, and registration costs to attend and present their research at the International Symposium on NeuroVirology or a similar neurovirology related meeting. Approximate travel award amounts are $1,500 per student or fellow.

2. I want my donation to support the Foundation for NeuroVirology Resource-Limited International Travel Fellowship Fund. Funds donated to the Resource-Limited International Travel Fellowship Fund will be used to award travel grants to international investigators from resource-limited settings to attend ISNV meetings. Resource limited travel grants will cover transportation, housing, and registration costs for investigators to attend and present their research at the International Symposium on NeuroVirology or a similar neurovirology related meeting. Approximate resource-limited travel award amounts are $2,500 per investigator.

3. I want my donation to support the Foundation for NeuroVirology General Fund. Please earmark my contribution to the Foundation's General Fund. Funds donated to the General Fund will be used to support the educational and research missions of the foundation.
